Beyond my journalistic roots, I earned a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Georgia and a Certificate in Disability Studies from the Institute on Human Development and Disability. Fueled by my brother Samuel Atcherson, Ph.D., and a profound connection to the deaf community, I'm dedicated to fostering lasting community support. Outside of work, I dabble in poetry, outdoor adventures, professional photography, quality time with family, music festivals, concerts, and the simple pleasure of savoring crab legs. Each aspect weaves into the vibrant tapestry that defines my journey.
