PROJECTS

A curated collection of my impactful and substantial creative endeavors, highlighting leadership roles and major contributions over the years.

New Money Summit

In 2023, I played a leading role in the inaugural New Money Summit, a groundbreaking conference that brought together thought leaders in business strategy, focusing on Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Banking. This event seamlessly intertwined with my brand partnership initiative, where I curated a roster of 12 influential leaders in the accounting industry, including the esteemed Kelly Phillips Erb, JD, LLM, also known as Taxgirl.

Beyond establishing crucial partnerships, I took charge of a dynamic content tour, producing over 60 pieces in 12 weeks leading up to the Summit. Donning multiple hats as producer, director, videographer, editor, and distributor, I crafted engaging content that introduced speakers and courses, generating anticipation and excitement.

Pushing the boundaries of innovation, I also launched our company's first in-house podcast, TaxSnax, in conjunction with the Summit. Reflecting my growing presence and community engagement, I not only played a crucial role in selling over 20 tickets but also drew on the strength of the relationships I built within the #TaxTwitter community, which proved instrumental to our success.

Operation Surprise and Delight

In response to the diverse customer base at Western CPE, I expanded our Managing Executive's 'surprise and delight' initiative by infusing a personalized touch beyond technology. Collaborating with Graphic Designer Veronika Turner, we conceptualized and brought to life a vibrant mailing box, adding an element of excitement to our personalized customer appreciation program.

If there's one thing I will always stress and always push for, it's the importance of people and creating relationships. I believe in cultivating an organic connection with customers, and this initiative stands as a testament to my ongoing commitment to fostering genuine relationships throughout my career.

This initiative aimed to celebrate customers who stood out for their kind feedback to our Customer Success team, supportive email responses, consistent purchases, and dedicated conference attendance. Each carefully crafted box featured a handwritten note tailored to the specific reason for the customer's acknowledgment, ensuring they felt truly special and heard. Complete with a selection of Montana-made gifts from local businesses and Western CPE themed items, the surprise mailing was designed to create memorable moments for our valued customers

Rodeo Roundup Sponsorship

In the summer of 2021, I spearheaded the acquisition of Taylor's Auto Max's rodeo sponsorship, collaborating closely with our general manager and in partnership with local radio station Cherry Creek Media. This initiative was a strategic move to deepen the dealership's community involvement, leveraging its local reputation and family ties to the Great Falls Area.

As the creative lead and planner for the sponsorship, I crafted all the designs, giveaways, and content for the rodeo pop-ups throughout the summer. Attending the rodeos as the dealership's representative, I served as a liaison and the face of the brand, engaging with the community, distributing free items, and establishing meaningful connections.

At each pop-up location, we offered a limited amount of exclusive gear as giveaways and showcased one of our heavy-duty trucks in relation to the rodeo community to attract more attention to our inventory. Cups, koozies, and t-shirts were up for grabs, with t-shirts exclusively available at select pop-up dates.

Exploring with Enya

Exploring with Enya was a multimedia and multi-platform series born during my tenure at the Great Falls Tribune and USA Today Network. With unwavering support from my colleagues and the news director, this mini-travel series emerged from a simple Google search. While browsing, I noticed that many small-town Montana businesses had limited online visibility, often reduced to a handful of Yelp reviews. Although I cherish the small-town ideology, I also recognized the potential to unveil hidden gems that travelers might miss.

The tagline for Exploring with Enya was: When a lot of Americans think of Montana, they think of Yellowstone and Glacier national parks and Big Sky Resort. Every week this summer we're showing you the other gems of the Treasure State where you can "eat, play, stay" and make the most of your summer adventures. This is 'Exploring with Enya.'
